Three of Hollywood’s insiders have joined forces to form Hollywood Talent Group to give workshops that provide artists the help and insight on building careers in Hollywood. The Los Angeles based group consisting of Tyler Christopher (current star of General Hospital), Ric Beddingfield (talent rep/film producer who discovered many top Hollywood actors) and Taylor Sheridan (Acting coach to the stars) will be giving a 2-day workshop at the Governor’s Comedy Club in Levittown on July 26 and 27. Hollywood Talent Group will be hosting the "Discover Me!" workshop and speaking to anyone looking to learn more about pursuing a professional career as an actor and breaking the myths of how to make it in Hollywood. The trio will personally watch and critique attendees’ auditions and answer questions about the art and business of acting and the process of succeeding in Hollywood. Mr. Beddingfield is scouting for new clients, discussing how to find an agent and the business aspects of acting. Mr. Christopher is discussing life as an actor in Los Angeles. Mr. Sheridan is bringing a comprehensive set of tools and techniques sure to enrich every level of actor.

Ric Beddingfield is a long time talent agent and manager and has given many successful actors their start including Freddie Prinze Jr., Without A Trace's Anthony LaPaglia, Supernatural's Jared Padalecki and CSI's Eric Zamanda. He currently represents Josh Hutcherson, star of Bridge to Terabithia and the upcoming Journey to the Center of the Earth. He will discuss feature film and television casting and be scouting for new clients to personally represent.

Tyler Christopher, currently plays Nikolas Cassadine on ABC’s General Hospital. He will be discussing the practical aspects of actors coming to Los Angeles. Where to go and what to do. Tyler has guest starred on many top television series and feature films.
Taylor Sheridan is a first rate acting coach responsible for guiding some of today’s brightest stars. He continues to coach celebrities on a daily basis. He will bring useful acting tools and reveal secrets of the audition process. Taylor will be seen this fall starring in the FX series Sons of Anarchy.

How to use trade publications to get paying work. Explore setting realistic goals for yourself and discover the mental attitude that will help you survive and succeed in "the business." Learn how to make the best choices - what to wear, what to say, when to speak and when to listen. Through role-playing, you will learn valuable lessons that will get you noticed by casting professionals. Open discussion and questions are encouraged.
THE COMMERCIAL AUDITION EXPERIENCE-LEVEL I: Sell yourself and they'll buy whatever you're selling $85 This intensive workshop focuses on working in television commercials. You will work on-camera with real commercial copy and cue cards as you learn the many techniques for selling a product. Learn how to read cold copy and handle props. Find out how to dress for auditions, how to overcome your nerves and what to expect at a call-back. Observe your negative habits and learn how to get rid of them. Discover what makes you unique.
